Sr. Machine Learning Engineer

You will be working as a Machine Learning (ML) Expert at Fareportal, a leading travel technology company based in Gurgaon, India. Fareportal is dedicated to offering next-generation travel concierge services by leveraging innovative technology and global contact centers. As a Machine Learning Expert, your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the creation of ML/artificial intelligence products that enhance user experience and operational efficiency. Your role will involve designing and developing machine learning and deep learning systems, conducting tests and experiments, implementing ML algorithms, and transforming data science prototypes. You will be expected to design and build self-learning applications, ensuring their efficiency and effectiveness. Key Responsibilities: - Designing and developing machine learning and deep learning systems. - Running machine learning tests and experiments. - Implementing appropriate ML algorithms. - Transforming data science prototypes and designing machine learning systems. - Researching and implementing suitable ML algorithms and tools. - Developing machine learning applications based on requirements. - Selecting relevant datasets and data representation methods. - Conducting statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results. - Training and retraining systems as needed. - Extending existing ML libraries and frameworks. - Keeping updated with advancements in the field of machine learning. Requirements: - Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or in a similar role. - Understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture. - Profound knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics, and algorithms. - Proficiency in writing robust code in Python. - Familiarity with machine learning frameworks like Keras or PyTorch and libraries such as scikit-learn. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
