Job Description

As a Senior Lead Development Engineer - MEAN at Barco, you will collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, System Architects, and System validation teams across different locations to design and implement quality product increments. Your role involves leading and contributing to the design and development of functional and nonfunctional components for high-quality software products. You will gain a deep understanding of the Barco control room product, ensuring proficiency in all its features. Adhering to best practices in code quality, security, and software development is essential, along with working with cross-functional teams across multiple groups, geographies, and time zones. Your responsibilities also include ensuring the delivery of high-quality, timely product releases and guiding and mentoring fellow colleagues. To qualify for this role, you should have a B. Tech./B. E./M. E./M. Tech/ MCA degree in Computer Science/IT/Electronics Engineering and possess 8-11 years of enriched full-stack development experience. Proficiency in JavaScript, Typescript, Node.js, Angular, Python technologies is required, along with experience in SQL and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), Test Driven Development (TDD), CI/CD, DevOps practices, and source code control tools like GitHub is crucial. Experience in designing, implementing, and supporting reusable and maintainable APIs and services is necessary, as well as knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS and Azure. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, and teamwork skills are also essential for this role. At Barco, innovation is at the core of everything we do.
