Sr Java Developer

As a Java Developer at our company, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Java application phases. You will actively participate in software and architectural development activities, conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging. Your role will involve identifying production and non-production application issues and transforming requirements into stipulations. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining application software, while also recommending changes to improve established Java application processes. You will play a key role in developing technical designs for application development and writing application code for Java programs. To excel in this role, we are seeking candidates with a minimum of 7 years of experience and excellent Java development skills. You should have demonstrable hands-on experience in delivering solutions in a JavaEE 6 environment, and familiarity with open-source frameworks and standards such as Hibernate, Spring JDBC. Proficiency in tools like Ant, Eclipse, Maven, SVN, SoapUI, JIRA, and Bamboo is desirable. Knowledge of WS concepts and protocols like WSDL, REST, SOAP, JMS, XSLT, and XML Schema is essential. Experience with open-source ESB products (such as JBOSS FUSE ESB, Apache Camel, Apache servicemix) and message-oriented middleware like Active MQ and JMS is preferred. Strong Java unit test skills, expertise in design patterns and design principles, and experience with Webservices, PLSQL, SQL (Oracle 10g or above), and Oops development with Core Java are required. Desirable skills include experience with Elastic Search, Smooks, Lucene, Jasper, Report, domain-driven design, and NoSQL technologies like Casandra and Mongo DB. Familiarity with agile development practices (e.g., Scrum) and continuous integration environments, as well as J2EE applications and web containers like GlassFish, Jetty, and Tomcat, are advantageous. Experience with CMMi-5 level processes will be a plus.
