IP Analytics team of Honeywell s IP COE is a leading provider of IP project services to Honeywell SBG s. Our service portfolio includes patent search & analytics, patent prosecution, patent application drafting, strategic IP projects, competitive tech intelligence and Open-source software compliance. We support SBG IP Counsels in managing their IP processes and portfolios. Key responsibilities: 1. Manage the IP protection process in alignment with tech/product strategy for the aligned portfolio, including IDF reviews, patentability, PRC participation, patent application drafting and prosecution. 2. Assist IP Counsels in providing IPSG clearances for NPIs, including risk analysis and mitigation strategies. 3. Execute strategic projects that have direct impact on product risk mitigation, revenue generation and technology adoption. 4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate new IP opportunities and potential risks. 5. Assist leadership in organizational development activities such as learning & development, training, hiring, and providing feedback. Must Have 1. Bachelors or Master s degree in Electronics, Electrical or Computer Engineering 2. 8+ years of hands-on experience in intellectual property function 3. Fair understanding of technologies and businesses relevant to Honeywell We value 1. Exceptional patent search and analytics skills and ability to perform complex and high business risk projects in a diligent manner. 2. Excellent understanding of patent prosecution processes in US and EP jurisdictions. 3. Hands on working experience with US attorneys and global inventors to obtain IP clearances and global patent protection. 4. Ability to conduct in-depth interviews with research groups, present the report effectively and moderate focus group discussions. 5. Ability to articulate meaningful strategic and operational insights on business performance and competitive position. 6. Clear and thoughtful communication skills to effectively negotiate, influence and collaborate with business stakeholders globally. 7. Strong personal leadership attributes such as ownership mindset, self initiated and team player. 8. Excellent communication and presentation skills suitable for global audience.
