Sr. Finishing Engineer

Job Title: Jr. Finishing Engineer – Commercial Building Projects

Location: Cuttack, Odisha

Salary: ₹60,000 – ₹80,000 per month.

Gender: Male.

Experience: 7-8 yrs

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finishing Engineer to oversee and execute high-quality finishing works for a commercial building project in Cuttack. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in civil finishing activities and a strong eye for aesthetics, precision, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all finishing works including Masonry, plastering, tiling, painting, and false ceiling installation, Door/window frame and shutter fixing, Stone cladding (wet and dry), façade treatments, Waterproofing and toilet fittings.
• Ensure work is executed as per architectural drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and site teams for timely execution.
• Monitor daily progress and maintain snag lists.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Prepare material quantity estimates and requisitions.
• Resolve on-site issues and ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
• 7–8 years of experience in finishing works for commercial or residential projects
• Strong understanding of finishing materials and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
• Excellent communication and team coordination skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic project management tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Cuttack, Orissa: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
