Job Description

Roles & responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping:

· Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with Ind AS and applicable regulations.

· Oversee daily accounting operations including AR, AP, GL, and bank reconciliations.

· Ensure timely closing of books on a monthly and yearly basis.

· Experience in Zoho Books is preferred.

2. Taxation & Compliance:

· Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements including GST, TDS, ESIC, PT, PF Income Tax, and ROC filings at all regular intervals.

· Manage monthly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), and coordinate with external consultants for annual filings.

· Review TDS workings and coordinate quarterly TDS returns filing.

3. Audit & Controls:

· Liaise with external auditors for statutory, tax, and internal audits.

· Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting.

Review client contracts to ensure proper invoicing and revenue recognition as per company policies.

Skills Required:

  • 4–7 years of experience in core finance roles, preferably in IT/ITES services sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, GST, and TDS.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally Prime / Zoho Books / QuickBooks / ERP).
