Sr. Executive- Retail Sourcing

As a professional in the retail industry with 3 to 12 years of experience, you will be responsible for building strategies for new locations where the company is not currently present and creating cluster mapping sheets. Working closely with the business team, you will identify potential new locations in various areas across cities and districts. It is essential to have a deep understanding of the requirements for opening a store and be well-versed in location parameters such as demographical, geographical, and sociographical aspects. Your role will also involve utilizing your negotiation skills to engage with landlords/owners for premises, collecting necessary documents, and ensuring the validation and completion of agreement signing procedures. You should possess knowledge of site measurement and be capable of managing extensions, renewals, and security deposits for existing stores. Regular reporting to the central team, effective coordination with cross-functional teams, and other business units are crucial aspects of this position. To excel in this role, you should have prior experience in leading impactful initiatives within the retail sector, specifically in new store identification processes. Proficiency in basic Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required. Staying abreast of market trends related to rent, space availability, and the geographic significance of local areas is a key skill set. Additionally, being presentable with good communication skills is essential for effective interaction. The ideal candidate will hold a graduate degree, while an engineering degree with expertise in civil or related fields would be advantageous. This full-time position requires you to work day shifts at the designated location.
