Sr. Executive - Asst. Art Direction

BASIC FUNCTION

Specific Responsibilities

• Assist the Art Director in reviewing product quality and consistency to ensure it meets Kohler’s established quality standards and guidelines.
• Conduct quality checks on rendered images for accuracy, consistency, and visual appeal, suggesting refinements as needed.
• Collaborate closely with the design team to provide clear, constructive feedback on techniques and artistic execution.
• Help maintain and apply a consistent artistic style that aligns with Kohler’s brand aesthetic.
• Support the implementation of process improvements to reduce rework rounds and improve efficiency.
• Stay current on industry trends, tools, and share insights with the team.
• Assist in preparing documentation or guides for quality standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., photography, design, marketing) to understand project requirements and ensure cohesive visual representation across media.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills to help translate requirements from the Beacon team to the ITC team effectively.
  

Education And Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in fine arts, Visual Arts, Graphic Design, or related field. Equivalent relevant experience may also be considered.
• Approximately 3–4 years of experience in product retouching or a similar design field.
• A portfolio showcasing strong retouching work and artistic skills.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop).
• Strong artistic eye with excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and collaboration skills for working effectively within the team and across functions.
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, problem-solving approach and willingness to learn and improve.
• Awareness of design and photography trends, with the ability to apply them appropriately to Kohler’s aesthetic.
