Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Firmware Design & Development

Design, specify, and implement functionality and behaviors of embedded control systems.
Deliver high-quality C/C++ code in a real-time embedded environment.
Implement power electronics control algorithms tailored to application requirements.
Participate in sustaining activities for existing products including diagnosis and defect resolution.

Collaboration & System Alignment

Work jointly with embedded control firmware engineers on system and product architecture.
Collaborate with hardware and software teams to align firmware implementations with system requirements.
Understand hardware schematics and co-design production-ready hardware/software solutions.

Testing & Quality Assurance

Participate in design and code reviews, providing constructive feedback.
Conduct unit testing, debugging, bug fixing, verification, and reliability testing.
Utilize model-based development tools (MATLAB, Simulink) and Typhoon Hardware-in-the-Loop testing.

Project & Global Support

Work with global firmware teams to implement embedded control algorithms and deploy products globally.
Maintain adherence to best practices for firmware design, development, and deployment.
Use source control management tools such as GIT.
