Position: Sr. Costing Engineer
Location: Bhosari, Pune Experience: 6 to 11 Years Education: B. Tech / B.E. in Electrical, Electronics/Telecommunication, Instrumentation Salary Range: Based on technical expertise, communication skills, and team management capabilities. Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Senior Costing Engineer** to manage and oversee all activities related to **Panel Costing** in the Automation sector. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Siemens and other Automation products, including PLCs, Drives, AC & DC Drives, CNC systems, DCS, PCS, Electrical Panels, and Instrumentation Panels. Key Responsibilities: 1. Panel Costing Management: Manage all activities related to panel costing, ensuring accurate and timely final costing. 2. Expert Product Knowledge: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Siemens products, automation systems (PLC, Drives, CNC, DCS, PCS), electrical and instrumentation panels. 3. Independent Costing & Team Handling: Take ownership of costing tasks and deliverables while leading a team of engineers. 4. Technical Discussions & Support: Conduct technical discussions with clients, internal teams, and vendors to finalize requirements, configurations, and costs. 5. Team Coordination & Reporting: Provide regular status reports to management regarding costing, progress, and potential issues. 6. Knowledge of Automation Products & Switchgear: Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in automation, electrical panels, and switchgear. 7. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for interacting with both internal teams and external customers. 8. Panel Costing Expertise: Ensure precise and competitive all type of panel costing, in all sectors.

• Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Strong knowledge of Siemens automation products and systems. 2. Proficiency in panel costing and project costing. 3. Experience with PLC, Drives, DCS, PCS, and instrumentation panels. 4. Ability to work independently and lead a team. 5. Excellent technical, communication, and interpersonal skills. 6. Ability to handle technical discussions and negotiations. 7. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 8. Candidate should be proactive, result-oriented, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. 9. Prior experience in panel and automation product costing is highly preferred. 10. Hands on MS Excel. If have experience in SIEPAN or SIECOST software would be more preferable.
