Position: Sr. Editor / Chief Editor - K12 Books

Location- Lower Parel, Mumbai

Position Summary :

An editor with Learning Design is an expert juggler of many hats.They are proactive in the creation and continuous refinement of programmes and products, are able to seamlessly adapt content for multiple formats and platforms, and supervise in all activities related to editing, formatting and quality control.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements :

Experience in publishing, editing & developing content for K12.
An ability to handle team of editors, sub-editors and proofreaders.
A strong eye for detail and rigour in formatting, editing, proofing, and quality control.
An ability to work in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment & team handling.
A strong English background.
Excellent writing skills and oral communication skills
Experience in and/or familiarity with the field of education in India
Project management, time management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong skills in MS-Office, and the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
