Individual taking up the role would help drive modernization, development and maintenance of Digital Manufacturing solutions, as a Senior D&T Analyst, ensuring the solutions are sustainable, and follow General Mills Engineering standards. The role requires the ability to manage multiple initiatives and work well with various internal and external partners to bring capabilities to life across a variety of General Mills business teams. This role is estimated to be 70% analyst / support work and 30% development / technical work.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Act as a key Business and technical analyst for Manufacturing Solutions with ability to understand the broader Manufacturing applications footprint and system integrations along the process intricacies in place
The role is an all round professional, who, on behalf of D&T team, owns transformation, run and improve Manufacturing solutions, ensuring superior end user experience and achieving overall business targets
Collaborate to develop and detail out technology roadmap with Senior Business and Technology stakeholders
Participate in the evaluation, implementation, and deployment of emerging tools and process in Manufacturing ecosystem (Manufacturing execution, Connected worker, Quality Management and packaging, Equipment / Asset maintenance etc.) and Manufacturing Analytics space
Participate in the design and implementation of sustainable tools & processes to support Manufacturing operations and day to day activity
Support and improve Manufacturing applications ensuring maximum uptime and superior Business experience; Work as first point of response provider for any major incidents reported
Collaborate with Software development and support teams, to deliver a concrete support to the reported incidents within SLAs
Support and develop communication & education plans for technical teams on technologies and processes in our ecosystem
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor s Degree is minimum and mandatory
- 4+ years of hands-on experience building Manufacturing applications along the areas of Manufacturing execution, Connected worker, Quality Management and packaging, Equipment / Asset maintenance
- Total 9+ years of experience in selection, designing and deployment of IT systems
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in building solutions like MES, Digital Manufacturing, Connected Worker, Equipment / Asset Management and maintenance, Manufacturing reporting and analytics etc.
- 4+ years of experience working with multiple database systems, application tech stacks and modern integration methodologies preferably in SQL, Oracle Database, C# - .NET, integrations through market leading middlewares like Mulesoft etc.
- Experience with modern Cloud platforms preferably GCP and corresponding data tools
- Experience / understanding of OT applications and integrations with IT applications
- Extensive experience in IT Service Management, KPIs management, reporting & improvements
- Having used general software engineering tools and processes like Agile methodologies, git, Jenkins, Jira/progress tracking
- Effective verbal and written communication and influencing skills
- Effective analytical and technical skills
