Job Description

As a Senior Design Manager at Adobe, you will be leading design efforts for Adobe Illustrator, a key product in the Creative Cloud business. You will collaborate with and lead a team of talented designers to design and craft experiences for Adobe Illustrator. The role involves contributing to the development of the industry-leading graphic design tool that empowers creatives to design anything they can imagine. Your responsibilities will include partnering with Product, Research, Engineering, and Marketing to define key objectives and impactful features, fostering a creative environment, and leading a team of designers to deliver innovative experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Lead design efforts for Adobe Illustrator, a key product in the Creative Cloud business - Collaborate with a team of talented designers to craft exceptional digital experiences - Partner with cross-functional teams to define key objectives and impactful features - Foster a creative environment that encourages innovation and design excellence - Lead a team of designers to deliver industry-leading graphic design solutions Qualifications Required: - Over 10 years of experience in the product design industry with a proven track record of launching successful products - At least 5 years of people management and leadership experience, including hiring, training, and developing designers of varying experience levels - Strong design background and experience in leading design teams - Ability to champion customer-centricity, accessibility, and inclusion - Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Adobe Design is known for its exceptional work environment and commitment to employee growth through ongoing feedback.
