Job Description

You will play a crucial role in leading design efforts for Adobe Illustrator, part of the Creative Cloud business. As a Senior Design Manager, you will work with a team of talented designers to craft experiences for Adobe Illustrator, the industry-leading graphic design tool. Your responsibilities will include partnering with various departments to define key objectives, fostering creativity and innovation within the team, and building a collaborative environment to deliver compelling user experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with Product, Research, Engineering, and Marketing to define key objectives and identify impactful features. - Foster creativity, ingenuity, and forward-thinking to build valuable solutions for users. - Lead and strengthen a team of designers to craft innovative and compelling experiences. - Establish a collaborative environment that encourages deep partnership with cross-functional teams. - Champion a culture of research and validation to inform design decisions. - Represent the team in interactions with design and cross-functional leaders. Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of experience in the product design industry with a focus on launching innovative and scalable products. - 5+ years of people management and leadership experience, including hiring, training, and developing designers. - Experience in conducting research, presenting results, and aligning design decisions with user insights and business objectives. - Ability to work effectively in large global teams with diverse responsibilities. - Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
