Reporting to - Manager ProductDevelopment.

Responsibilities:

- Work onperformance, query optimization, DB team support

- Day-to-dayoperations of Microsoft SQL Server estate

- Migrate fromSQL to PostgreSQL

- Consult teamon PostgreSQL topics

-Troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues,blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, connectivity issues,security issues.

- Providesupport and guidance to the development team for database-related tasks

- Implementautomated failover and monitoring mechanisms to minimize downtime and ensuredata consistency

- Ability toanalyze and interpret advanced database metrics to optimize performance andtroubleshoot issues

- Participate incapacity planning by looking at current performance and growth metrics,forecasting future growth, and providing recommendations for increased capacity

Required Skills & Experience:

- Strongtechnical SQL DBA experience

- Solidknowledge of MS SQL and SQL server

- experiencewith OLAP solutions

- deepexpertise with performance tuning (optimizing data models, queries tuning)

-infrastructure maintenance (versions updates)

- SQLcapacity planning

- Workindependently and think proactively to develop your skills and ideas
