Job Purpose We are seeking a Senior Lead Database Engineer to lead the design, development and maintenance of our company's databases. The Senior Lead Database Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the performance, security and integrity of our databases, as well as providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Job Responsibilities Lead the design, development and maintenance of databases Ensure the performance, security and integrity of databases Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members Collaborate with other departments to gather requirements and provide solutions Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures Monitor and optimize database performance Identify and resolve database-related issues Keep up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends Total Yrs of experience: 10-12 Educ: B Tech in Computer Science or related discipline preferred. Key Skills Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle Experience with database security, backup and recovery procedures
