Sr. Data Engineer

Role Overview: As a Senior Data Engineer at PRI India IT Services Pvt Ltd, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data and analytics solutions. You will work with MSBI stack, database proficiency in SQL Server and Oracle, and have the opportunity to gain exposure to big data tools like Hadoop and Spark. Your role will also involve ETL and data pipelines, ITSM & Agile methodologies, and providing L1/L2 support. Strong communication skills and adaptability are essential for collaborating with global clients and transitioning into cloud-based data engineering. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize MSBI stack including SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, and Power BI, with strong DAX and MDX skills - Demonstrate expertise in SQL Server and Oracle for optimized query writing - Gain familiarity with big data tools like Hadoop, Spark, Hive, and Impala - Build and deploy scalable data and analytics solutions, handling petabytes of data - Work with BMC Remedy for incident/change/problem management and understand Agile ceremonies - Understand secure file transfer protocols like SFTP and provide L1/L2 support - Collaborate with the team, handle ad hoc requests, and support Agile workflows - Explore the future potential for cloud-based data engineering with Azure/AWS Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in MSBI stack, SQL Server, and Oracle - Knowledge of big data tools like Hadoop, Spark, Hive, and Impala is a plus - Familiarity with BMC Remedy, Agile methodologies, and secure file transfer protocols - Strong communication skills, adaptability, and team collaboration abilities If you are interested in this opportunity, please send your availability, current and expected CTC, and your latest resume to jeff@priglobal.com.
