Sr. Data Analyst

Role Overview: As a Senior Data Analyst in the Information Technology department at the Head Office in Mumbai, you will be responsible for using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources. Your role will involve removing corrupted data, fixing coding errors, and reorganizing data in a readable format. You will perform analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data, filter data by reviewing reports, and identify trends in complex data sets. Your contribution will be crucial in assigning numerical value to essential business functions, analyzing global trends, and preparing reports for management. Key Responsibilities: - Extract data from primary and secondary sources using automated tools - Remove corrupted data, fix coding errors, and reorganize data in a readable format - Perform analysis to assess data quality and meaning - Filter data by reviewing reports and performance indicators - Use statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in data sets - Assign numerical value to essential business functions for performance assessment - Analyze local, national, and global trends impacting the organization and industry - Prepare trend reports, patterns, and predictions for management - Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities - Propose system modifications and devise data governance strategies - Prepare final analysis reports for stakeholders - Evaluate changes and updates to source production systems - Train end-users on new reports and dashboards - Provide technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing Qualifications Required: - Familiarity with database technologies and tools such as Python, SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, BI, Dashboard, etc. - Experience with data warehousing, transformation, and processing is a plus - Work experience with real data for customer insights, business, and market analysis is advantageous - Ability to manage simultaneous tasks in a fast-paced, technology-oriented environment - Experience with text analytics, data mining, and web analytics Additional Details: N/A,
