Key Responsibilities

  • Storytelling & Ideation:

    Craft compelling narratives and imaginative concepts that present ideas in a fresh, differentiated light, resonating with diverse audiences.
  • Creative Copywriting:

    Develop persuasive, original, and highly creative copy for ads, landing pages, product descriptions, social media campaigns, and other marketing assets that capture attention and drive conversions.
  • Content Development:

    Produce high-quality, engaging, and SEO-friendly content for digital platforms including blogs, social media, websites, ad copies, and email campaigns.
  • Content Strategy:

    Design and execute innovative storytelling-led content and copy strategies aligned with client goals and brand positioning.
  • Editing and Proofreading:

    Ensure all content and copy meet high standards of clarity, tone, creativity, and brand consistency.
  • SEO Optimization:

    Apply SEO best practices in both content and copy to enhance visibility and organic reach.
  • Research & Insight:

    Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitors, and audiences, and transform insights into unique storylines and engaging content.
  • Mentorship:

    Guide junior writers in enhancing creativity, storytelling, and strategic writing skills.
  • Collaboration:

    Partner with marketing, design, and advertising teams to brainstorm and execute impactful campaigns.
  • Content Calendar Management:

    Plan and manage content and campaign schedules to ensure timely delivery.
  • Performance Analysis:

    Track and analyze the performance of content and copy, leveraging insights for continuous improvement.
  • Client Communication:

    Engage with clients to understand their vision, and translate it into compelling narratives and creative solutions.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3–6 years of experience in content writing and creative copywriting, with proven strength in storytelling and ideation (preferably in a digital marketing/advertising setup).
  • Writing Skills: Strong command over language with the ability to adapt tone and style creatively for different audiences.
  • Storytelling & Creativity: Demonstrated expertise in producing imaginative, impactful, and story-driven content/copy.
  • Copywriting Creativity: Ability to conceptualize and deliver content that stands out and drives engagement.
  • SEO Knowledge: Solid understanding of SEO principles and how to integrate them into content and copy.
  • Research Skills: Ability to translate complex research into simple, engaging, story-led messaging.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in language, tone, and style with a sharp eye for errors.
  • Leadership: Experience in mentoring writers/copywriters and driving creative excellence within a team.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional teamwork.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with CMS platforms, Google Analytics, keyword research, and copywriting tools.
