Sr Category Specialist EMobility

Role Overview: As a Sr. Category Specialist EMobility at Eaton based in Pune, India, you will play a crucial role in driving all supplier-related metrics, maintaining supplier relationships, and leading the development of category strategies. Your primary focus will be on delivering cost-out, price increase mitigations, working capital improvement, and resiliency. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end sourcing process for the electronics category, collaborating with other functions, and ensuring total alignment of sourcing strategy with Category leads of respective commodities. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with other functions (operations, quality, logistics, engineering) for resourcing and rationalization - Manage end-to-end sourcing process for electronics category with exposure to electronics components - Source suppliers offering the best combination of price, service, and quality - Prepare and execute negotiation events seeking best cost-out contracts and beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers - Drive global resiliency metrics of eMob with a focus on data and core resiliency systems - Perform supplier market analysis, category analysis, and supply risk analysis - Develop total cost of ownership (TCO) understanding and identify improvements within the sourcing process - Proactively identify cost-out opportunities and take ownership of assigned savings initiatives - Ensure effective contract management follow-up activities are in place - Support plants to resolve material shortage situations Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering, preferably in Electrical/Electronics - Minimum 8-10 years of professional experience with 4+ years of relevant experience in Electrical & Electronic Components procurement and strategic sourcing (Note: Additional Details section omitted as it doesn't contain specific information relevant to the job description),
