Sr. Automation Tester

Skills Required:

Selenium Web Driver

Develop and Execute automated testing on Web Front ends/back end systems.

Expert with multiple languages and automation tools such as Selenium, UFT, LeanFT, Test Complete, Coded UI etc.

Experience in building a Test automation framework.

Automate test scripts to support a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline.

Run test validations at various levels including DB validation, logging validation, and UI validation.

Knowledge on reporting tools such as ALM, Jira, Azure DevOps etc.

Familiarity with cloud based technologies e.g. AWS, Azure.

Experience working in Agile/BDD methodologies.

Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices, including emerging ones such as cloud, mobile, big data and IoT testing

Ability to take initiative with work activities and to learn/apply new skills.

Experience with continuous integration, automated builds, and automated build verification testing.

Deep understanding of different test automation approaches (keyword-driven, Data-driven, BDD, hybrid) and technology stacks/ Scripting programming skills (C#, JavaScript etc.)

Good knowledge of SQL and experience of database testing.

Knowledge on J-Meter & performance testing tools would be added advantage.

Responsibilities would include:

Ownership of the functional test suite

Ownership of the Automated Build code repository

Ownership of the Unit, Integration, Regression, Smoke testing test suite etc.

Test and certify of every release

Manage Ticketing Defect Tracking to closure

Drive architecture changes to support a long term automated test plan

Reporting to Higher management/Onshore
