As a Sr. Accountant at the Noida, India office, you will be a valuable member of the Finance team, fostering significant relationships with educators and learners on a global scale. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around financial accounting tasks, including month-end procedures, journal entries, reconciliations, analytical reviews, and reporting, all of which will directly impact the education sector. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting. - Assist in various tasks such as month-end close, GL account analysis, and handling different journal entries (revenue, royalties, prepaid expenses, and accruals). - Support monthly/quarterly close processes, engage in data analysis, and contribute to ad hoc projects like audit documentation and the optimization of finance operations. - Work in conjunction with external auditors and internal FPA departments to ensure precise financial reporting. - Drive continuous enhancements in accounting processes. Qualifications Required: - Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of experience. - Previous experience with a Big 4 audit firm and participation in European/US public company audits. - Strong understanding of financial controls and month-end procedures. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and MS Office. - Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and communication skills. - Flexibility to work US hours until at least noon/1 PM EST. - Capable of working independently and taking proactive steps in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
