Job Title: MS SQL Server Developer Experience: 2-3 Years Location: Hyderabad, Hybrid Working Hours: 12.00pm to 9.00pm Junior SQL Developer in Production Support - responsible for maintaining the health and performance of database systems in a live production environment. They handle data-related issues, support incident resolution, and ensure smooth operation of database-driven applications. Key Responsibilities: Production Support: Monitor and support live database systems. Respond to and resolve database-related incidents and service requests. Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues. SQL Development & Maintenance: Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts. Assist in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) tasks. Support data validation and reconciliation processes. Collaboration: Work closely with application support, development, and infrastructure teams. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand and resolve issues. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain documentation for support procedures and known issues. Generate reports and dashboards as needed. Shift & On-Call Support: Participate in rotational shifts or on-call support as required Qualification Criteria Experience: 2 years of experience in SQL development or database support. Internship or academic project experience with databases is a plus. Technical Skills: Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL (e.g., SELECT, JOIN, INSERT, UPDATE). Familiarity with relational databases like SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle. Understanding of database concepts, indexing, and normalization. Exposure to scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) is a plus. Familiarity with ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) is helpful. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
