Responsibilities

DBA Activity Migration Coordination

Manage the transfer of database administration tasks across teams, systems, or locations.
Ensure smooth transitions and operational continuity.

SQL Upgrade Process Management

Oversee SQL system upgrades to maintain security and performance.
Coordinate and plan upgrade cycles and testing.

CMDB Updates Oversight

Ensure accurate, current records in the Configuration Management Database.
Supervise timely and complete documentation updates.

SQL Vulnerability Status Tracking

Track vulnerabilities in SQL systems.
Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to resolve issues.

Centralization of Coordination Tasks

Consolidate various coordination responsibilities to improve consistency and efficiency.

Support Model Implementation

Implement new/revised support models for SQL/database environments.
Standardize and improve support practices across teams.

Database Landscape Management

Monitor and optimize evolving database environments.
Ensure alignment with organizational goals and scalability needs.

Experience & Education

Master's/Bachelor's degree in Information & Computer Science, Statistics, or a quantitative discipline.
Minimum of 6 years of project management experience, focused on database initiatives.
Strong SQL technology knowledge; familiarity with major providers like SQL Server and Oracle.
