You are a SQL Expert with around 5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions. Your key role will involve supporting data-driven applications, ensuring efficient data processing, performance tuning, and robust database design. **Responsibilities:** - Design and develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions. - Optimize query performance, indexing strategies, and database tuning. - Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for data processing and transformation. - Collaborate with developers to design scalable and normalized database schemas. - Analyze and troubleshoot database performance issues and recommend improvements. - Ensure data integrity, consistency, and compliance across systems. - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of data models and processes. - Support reporting and analytics teams by providing clean, optimized datasets. - Work with large datasets and understand partitioning, sharding, and parallel. **Skills & Experience:** - 5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar). - Strong knowledge of advanced SQL concepts: window functions, CTEs, indexing, query optimization. - Experience in writing and optimizing stored procedures, triggers, and functions. - Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL processes. - Ability to diagnose and resolve database performance issues. - Experience working with large, complex datasets and ensuring high performance. - Strong understanding of relational database design and normalization. - Solid experience with tools like SSIS, Talend, Apache Airflow, or similar ETL frameworks (nice to have). - Familiarity with cloud databases (AWS RDS, BigQuery, Snowflake, Azure SQL) is a plus. - Good communication and documentation. **Qualifications:** - Experience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker). - Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash) for data manipulation. - Understanding of NoSQL databases or hybrid data architectures.
