Job Description

About the Role:

SQL Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain complex
SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions
.
Develop and optimize
database objects
(tables, views, indexes) for efficiency and scalability.
Implement
ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)
processes for integrating data from multiple sources.
Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements and optimize them for speed and efficiency.
Collaborate with software developers, BI analysts, and data engineers to ensure smooth data flow.
Maintain
data integrity, security, and confidentiality
across all databases.
Create and maintain
database documentation
, data dictionaries, and workflow diagrams.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in
Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
.
Proven experience (X+ years) as an
SQL Developer, Database Developer, or similar role
.
Strong proficiency in
MS SQL Server / Oracle / MySQL / PostgreSQL
(depending on your environment).
In-depth knowledge of
T-SQL / PL/SQL
and database schema design.
Hands-on experience with
ETL tools
(e.g., SSIS, Talend, Informatica) is preferred.
Experience in
query optimization and performance tuning
.
