Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Splunk Engineer, PowerShell at SSMT Solutions. The Splunk Engineer will be responsible for deploying, monitoring, and managing Splunk infrastructure. Key responsibilities include developing custom scripts using PowerShell to automate tasks, analyzing data logs to extract insights, and ensuring system performance and reliability. The role also involves troubleshooting issues, optimizing system performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+

  Experience in Splunk Engineer
• Strong knowledge of Splunk, including deployment, monitoring, and management
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and custom task development
• Experience with Back-End Web Development and Software Development
• Solid understanding of Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience in cybersecurity and IT consultancy is a plus
