Job Description

Role Overview: As a Splunk Cloud Integrations Specialist, your primary role will be to design and implement integrations with Splunk Cloud, ingesting data from various appliances, AWS services, and other sources. You will be responsible for developing and optimizing Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts, including SPL query development and report scheduling. Additionally, you will administer and maintain AWS Linux environments, ensuring data accuracy, availability, and security across Splunk and AWS environments. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement monitoring and logging solutions will also be a key part of your responsibilities. Troubleshooting complex issues related to Splunk ingestion pipelines, AWS services, and Linux OS will be essential, as well as driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize observability and infrastructure reliability. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement Splunk Cloud integrations, ingesting data from a variety of appliances, AWS services, and other sources. - Develop and optimize Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts, including SPL query development and report scheduling. - Administer and maintain AWS Linux environments, including: - OS patching and patch baseline creation - Service and system troubleshooting - Performance monitoring and tuning - Ensure data accuracy, availability, and security across Splunk and AWS environments. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement monitoring and logging solutions. - Develop and maintain documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge articles. - Troubleshoot complex issues related to Splunk ingestion pipelines, AWS services, and Linux OS. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize observability and infrastructure reliability. Qualification Required: - Strong hands-on expertise in Splunk Cloud administration, including: - Data ingestion and integration from diverse sources - SPL (Search Processing Language) query development - Dashboard creation and report scheduling - Proven experience with AWS services integration into Splunk. - Expert-level skills in AWS Linux administration, including: - OS patching and patch baseline management - System performance tuning and troubleshooting - Proficiency with Linux scripting and automation tools. - Solid understanding of security best practices in cloud and Linux environments. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and documentation skills. Additional Details: The company values individuals who hold Splunk certifications (e.g., Splunk Certified Admin/Architect) and AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator). Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform) and exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines are considered advantageous for this role.,
