Specialist - Scrum Master

As a Specialist - Scrum Master at Accelya in Mumbai, your role is to lead cross-functional teams in delivering agile-based project outcomes. You will facilitate the team's work to accelerate the delivery of business value by ensuring adherence to Scrum methodologies and processes. Your responsibilities include: - Leading and facilitating sprint sessions such as planning sessions, iterations, retrospectives, and demos - Supporting and educating Product Owner, particularly in grooming and maintaining the product backlog - Tracking and communicating team progress, sprint or release progress - Mentoring and coaching the Scrum team to instill Agile values and principles and lead by example - Keeping the Scrum process on track and passing it to the team as self-organization matures - Coordinating with other agile teams for complex projects - Strengthening the presence of your team as an Agile Center of Excellence - Acting as a project manager when necessary - Empowering your team to self-organize You should have the following qualifications: - Advanced understanding and experience with Software Development project life cycles and advanced project management skills - Strong oral, written, and presentation skills with strong interpersonal skills - Must ensure agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to while being a voice of reason and authority - Capable of independently completing diverse/complex work with minimal direction, diverse interactions, and knowledge resource - Possess a Professional Scrum Master Certificate - Ability to identify non-development dependencies related to delivery Accelya offers an open culture and challenging opportunities to satisfy your intellectual needs.
