Job Description:

Power Electronics Specialist Hardware

Key Responsibilities:

Design and development of
power electronic circuits and hardware
for EV applications.
Develop and validate
high-voltage systems
including
DC-DC converters, onboard chargers, and inverters
.
Support hardware architecture for
motor controller systems
and optimize efficiency and reliability.
Lead component selection, schematic design, layout review, and hardware validation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, mechanical, and testing teams for end-to-end product development.
Ensure designs meet
automotive safety and EMC/EMI standards
.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues through bench and field testing.

Required Skills & Experience:

5+ years
of experience in
power electronics hardware design
, preferably in the
EV domain
.
Hands-on experience with
EV powertrain systems
,
motor controllers
, or
inverter technologies
.
Proficient in
circuit simulation tools
(e.g., LTSpice, PLECS) and
PCB design tools
(e.g., Altium, Mentor Graphics).
Good understanding of
automotive standards
and
safety regulations
(ISO 26262, AIS, etc.).
Able to guide and mentor the team.
Experience with
thermal, EMI/EMC, and reliability design considerations
for high-voltage systems.
Basic knowledge of
motor control algorithms
.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Power Electronics Engineering.
Experience with
Electric 2W/3W/4W
systems or commercial EV platforms.
Experience working in a
Tier-1 automotive or OEM environment
is preferred.
