The Role:
The Specialist, Infrastructure Deployment plays an important role in supporting infrastructure delivery across 11:11 Systems global data center footprint. Reporting to a Data Center Infrastructure Manager, this position is responsible for executing deployment tasks, maintaining infrastructure records, and assisting with colocation projects and after-hours escalations.
This role is well-suited for someone with proven experience in data center infrastructure, strong attention to detail, and the ability to operate independently across global teams through asynchronous collaboration and ownership of critical workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Support power planning by validating cabinet power availability, reviewing PDU loads, and updating documentation to reflect site constraints.
- Own initial planning and technical checks for colocation and infrastructure projects, ensuring cabinet space, power, and supporting infrastructure are validated ahead of deployment.
- Coordinate and track remote hands tickets and cross-connect requests, collaborating with internal stakeholders and data center providers to ensure timely execution.
- Maintain consistent and accurate infrastructure data across systems including Nlyte, NetBox, PowerIQ, Jira, Confluence, and internal asset tracking tools.
- Validate and track inventory within spare and active cabinets, including serial numbers, RU usage, power draw, and lifecycle status.
- Support cabinet layout documentation and escalation of power or space constraints to engineering leadership as needed.
- Act as the primary on-shift escalation point for colocation or infrastructure events during assigned after-hours support windows.
- Collaborate with deployment engineers, data center technicians, procurement, and infrastructure teams to support global project workflows and customer readiness.
- Provide accurate, asynchronous status updates and documentation to ensure seamless handoffs between time zones.
- Contribute to documentation, process improvement, and repeatable deployment planning practices.
- Work supportively with colleagues, operating in a manner consistent with 11:11 s Code of Business Ethics and Company Values.
- Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle company data and information per company data handling agreements, work procedures, and policies.
- Review and follow company policies and guidelines, data privacy practices, including annual compliance training certification and policy acknowledgments.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in a technical or engineering discipline required.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, data center operations, or global cloud service provider support.
- Hands-on experience coordinating infrastructure across multiple global sites or vendor-neutral colocation facilities.
- Familiarity with VMware, Cisco UCS, enterprise server/storage platforms, and virtualization environments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced with documentation and task-tracking platforms (Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow).
- Experience using DCIM tools such as NetBox, Nlyte, PowerIQ, or similar systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple concurrent priorities, and document work clearly in asynchronous environments.
- Effective written communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
- Familiarity with scripting or automation workflows (PowerShell, Python, etc.) is a plus.
- Willingness to participate in after-hours/on-call infrastructure support rotation as part of a global operations model.
- Must be eligible to work in assigned country without a visa sponsorship.
