As a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) professional at HARMAN Automotive, you will play a crucial role in managing transitions, financial planning, budgeting, and performance analysis across diverse business units. Your responsibilities will include the following: - Serve as the subject matter expert for Accounting and Reporting. - Conduct Periodical expense Variance Analysis, Open Commitment analysis, and Accrual/Prepaid Amortization. - Prepare and distribute a monthly deck summarizing team activities. - Analyze and provide financial reporting at various levels including Segment, Profit Center, Cost Center, and Functional Area. - Collaborate with Business Partners to gather insights on business processes and convert them into relevant Forecast and Budget numbers. - Create and maintain custom reports to meet Business Partners" requirements and evaluate financial results. - Respond promptly to Ad Hoc queries and provide necessary information. - Propose process improvement initiatives related to overhead business processes. - Prepare reports to address complex accounting issues and propose suitable solutions. - Assist in responding to audit requests and supporting Division Accounting and Finance teams as needed. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related fields (B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter or equivalent). - 8-10 years of Strong Fundamental Accounting experience. - Proficiency in SAP, BPC systems, and GAAP. - Advanced Knowledge of Excel/Powerpoint. - Ability to work in EU time zone and meet stringent deadlines. - Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. - Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload effectively. - Capability to work across functional boundaries and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Bonus Points if You Have: - Experience in centralized and de-centralized organizational structures. - Knowledge of General accounting, reporting, consolidation & reconciliation. - Proficiency in MS Office tools, SAP, BPC, BI, and their databases. - Demonstrated problem-solving, facilitation, and analytical skills.
