Specialist Cloud Developer

This Job Role ist part of Job Family "Information Technology (IT)" / Sub-Job-Family "IT Run - Maintenance" and encompasses roles responsible for the ongoing administration, management, and maintenance of IT systems, networks, and applications.

The "Application Administrator" ensures an application meets performance and reliability standards. This role often collaborate with a "Database Administrator (DBA)" and/or "Server Administrator", manage changes by programmers or DBAs, and coordinate technical implementations in production. They also handle second-line support for technical incidents and problems.

The application automation team is a part of the operational IT. We are the backbone of the company and provide backend automation solutions on different platforms and applications. • Plan and operate IT process automation
• Build and review automation workflows for consistency and with a focus on improving resilience and performance.
• Maintain and evolve the corporate automation platform by modernizing the backend systems and coordinate maintenance activities with least impact on the customer.
• Modernize high volume job scheduling
• Program interfaces and automation solutions
• Build technical designs for automation by utilizing best-practice architecture standards and refine them with integrating tools and systems via APIs in on-premises as well as in cloud.
• Analyze new technologies and recommend inclusion in our roadmap, led by customer requirements.
• Active cooperation and subproject lead in international projects
• Learn and apply international work skills and work with technologies like cloud, container, and distributed systems.
• Be part of an international IT team and participate in operational IT support on-call rotation in 2nd and 3rd level.
• Share knowledge and train co-workers with introduced changes and features.
• Develop code, write interfaces, work agile, and use state of the art tools to support the companys digitalization and cloud initiatives.

• Bachelors degree in IT or related field
• Solid understanding of IT technology and Agile methodologies
• Analytical and design thinking
• Experience in code design, evaluation, and testing
• Knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems
