Job Description

As a Part-Time Special Educator at Samrasa Foundation, your role will involve conducting assessments, identifying children with learning difficulties, and collaborating with stakeholders to create intervention strategies. You will visit partner schools on a scheduled basis, conduct academic, behavioral, and developmental assessments, maintain clear documentation of assessment results, provide recommendations for intervention services, liaise with school staff and parents, collaborate with the Samrasa Foundation team, and conduct awareness sessions for teachers when required. Your key responsibilities will include: - Visiting partner schools on a scheduled basis. - Conducting academic, behavioral, and developmental assessments for students referred for special education support. - Maintaining clear and confidential documentation of assessment results. - Providing initial recommendations for intervention or support services. - Liaising with school staff and parents to discuss student needs. - Collaborating with the Samrasa Foundation team on reporting and follow-up. - Conducting awareness sessions for teachers when required. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or equivalent qualification. - Minimum 3 years of experience in special education or inclusive education settings. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to travel to different schools independently. - Passion for working with children and promoting inclusive education.
