Special educator

As a Part-Time Special Educator at Samrasa Foundation, you will play a crucial role in conducting assessments, identifying children with learning difficulties, and collaborating with stakeholders to create intervention strategies. Your responsibilities will include visiting partner schools on a scheduled basis, conducting academic, behavioral, and developmental assessments, maintaining clear documentation of assessment results, providing recommendations for intervention services, liaising with school staff and parents, collaborating with the Samrasa Foundation team, and conducting awareness sessions for teachers when required. Key Responsibilities: - Visit partner schools on a scheduled basis. - Conduct academic, behavioral, and developmental assessments for students referred for special education support. - Maintain clear and confidential documentation of assessment results. - Provide initial recommendations for intervention or support services. - Liaise with school staff and parents to discuss student needs. - Collaborate with the Samrasa Foundation team on reporting and follow-up. - Conduct awareness sessions for teachers when required. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or equivalent qualification. - Minimum 3 years of experience in special education or inclusive education settings. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to travel to different schools independently. - Passion for working with children and promoting inclusive education.,
