Special Education Teacher

You are being sought after to join Vokx Inclusive, a multidisciplinary rehab unit for individuals with diverse needs, as an Educational Teaching Assistant. In this full-time role, your main responsibilities will revolve around providing one-on-one academic and behavioural support to clients, assisting in therapy sessions, and contributing to the daily center operations. Your role will involve working closely with educators and therapists to ensure the best outcomes for the individuals under your care. **Key Responsibilities:** - Support individual clients in therapy or learning sessions, ensuring active participation and engagement. - Assist educators and therapists in delivering customized learning and therapy activities. - Prepare, organize, and maintain educational and therapy materials. - Adapt lesson materials and instructions based on the lead educator/therapist's guidance. - Document basic observations and progress for review by the supervising professional. - Encourage social, behavioral, and learning development in clients. - Facilitate smooth transitions between activities and provide assistance during group programs. - Participate in and support centre-led community and outreach initiatives to promote inclusive education and awareness. **Qualifications:** - Bachelors degree or Diploma in Education, Special Education, Psychology, Early Childhood Care & Education, or a related field. - Background or experience in shadow teaching or classroom assistance. - Strong communication skills, patience, and adaptability. - Willingness to learn therapy techniques and inclusive teaching methods.
