Learning & Development Assistant

The Learning & Development Assistant position at Vokx Inclusive in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, offers a unique opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary rehab unit catering to individuals with diverse needs. As a full-time assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing academic and behavioral support to clients by shadowing educators and therapists and assisting in therapy sessions and daily operations at the center. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting individual clients during therapy and learning sessions to ensure active participation and engagement. Working closely with educators and therapists, you will help deliver personalized learning and therapy activities, organize educational materials, and adapt lesson plans as per guidance. Additionally, documenting observations and progress for professional review and fostering social, behavioral, and learning development in clients will be key aspects of your role. Your contribution in facilitating smooth transitions between activities, assisting during group programs, and participating in community outreach initiatives will promote inclusive education and awareness. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Education, Special Education, Psychology, Early Childhood Care & Education, or a related field. Previous experience in shadow teaching or classroom assistance, along with strong communication skills, patience, and adaptability, will be beneficial. A willingness to learn therapy techniques and inclusive teaching methods is essential for success in this position.
