Role & Responsibility: Managing the Procurement activity of sheet metal parts, ensuring adherence to quality standards and production schedules. Implementing and monitoring quality control procedures throughout the Sheetmetal development process to minimize defects and ensure finished products meet specifications. Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the overall sheet metal parts process. Supervising and mentoring a team of sheet metal supplier providing guidance and support to ensure productivity and adherence to safety standards. Collaborating with material suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and adherence to specifications. Managing multiple sheet metal parts development projects, coordinating resources, and ensuring timely completion within budget. Identifying opportunities for cost reduction through process improvements, material optimization, and indigenization of parts. Ensuring all sheet metal operations adhere to safety regulations and guidelines. Skills Required: sheet metal component manufacturing process, and quality control procedures. Ability to interpret technical drawings, analyse fabrication processes, and identify areas for improvement. Ability to supervise, motivate, and mentor a team of sheet metal Supplier. Ability to effectively communicate with team members, vendors, and other departments within the organization. Ability to identify and resolve issues related to sheet metal manufacturing processes. Understanding of industry standards for sheet metal manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations. In an OEM context, the sheet metal executive plays a crucial role in ensuring the production of high-quality components for the final product, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
