Source Code Review Professional

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive
manual and automated source code reviews
to detect vulnerabilities such as injection flaws, insecure APIs, and authentication/authorization weaknesses.
Analyze code written in various languages (e.g., Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript, PHP, C/C++, etc.).
Work with developers to
triage and remediate
identified security issues, providing actionable recommendations.
Integrate security scanning tools (e.g.,
Checkmarx, Fortify, Veracode, SonarQube, Snyk
) into the CI/CD pipeline.
Develop and maintain
secure coding standards, guidelines, and best practices
.
Perform
threat modeling
and assist in secure design reviews.
Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams to ensure security controls are integrated throughout the SDLC.
Generate detailed technical reports and executive summaries highlighting risks, impacts, and remediation steps.
Stay updated on
OWASP Top 10
,
SANS CWE Top 25
, and emerging code-level security vulnerabilities.
Mentor junior engineers and promote a
security-first culture
within development teams.
