About the Role

Procedural Writer

This role goes beyond task documentation it involves analyzing how processes work across systems (e.g., Gateway), identifying gaps, and ensuring alignment with organizational standards and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and document complex workflows involving multiple teams and systems.
Develop detailed, step-by-step procedures and process documentation (SOPs).
Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and unclear handoffs across teams.
Ensure all procedures comply with organizational, regulatory, and audit standards.
Translate technical or operational concepts into simple, actionable instructions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate and refine process documentation.
Support continuous improvement by maintaining documentation accuracy and consistency.

Required Skills

Strong understanding of end-to-end operational processes and system interactions.
Excellent written communication and documentation skills.
Experience in compliance-driven writing (regulatory or audit-focused documentation).
Critical thinking with the ability to evaluate decision-making processes within workflows.
Ability to distinguish between system navigation and process execution.
Proficiency in tools such as MS Word, Visio, or process-mapping applications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree
3–6 years of experience in procedural, process, or technical writing.
Experience working in a regulated or process-oriented environment preferred.
