Sonologist

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations including:
• Obstetric (early pregnancy, anomaly scan, growth scans)
• Gynaecological pelvic scans
• Abdominal ultrasound
• Doppler studies (as applicable)
• Interpret ultrasound findings and prepare accurate diagnostic reports
• Communicate results clearly to referring clinicians
• Ensure strict compliance with PC-PNDT Act and maintain all statutory records
• Maintain patient confidentiality and informed consent
• Ensure proper use, maintenance, and hygiene of ultrasound equipment
• Participate in clinical meetings and audits when required
• Provide guidance to technicians and nursing staff
• Stay updated with latest ultrasound guidelines and best practices

Qualifications & Experience

• MBBS with MD / DNB in Radiology or DMRD
• Registered with Medical Council of India / State Medical Council
• Valid PC-PNDT registration (mandatory)
• 1–5 years of experience preferred (freshers may apply depending on setup)

Skills & Competencies

• Strong diagnostic and analytical skills
• Proficiency in obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound
• Knowledge of PC-PNDT rules and documentation
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ethical and patient-focused approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
