Position Overview

Solution Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure services.
• Translate business requirements into well-structured technical architectures.
• Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, solution designs, and technical documentation.
• Lead system and application integrations to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams throughout project lifecycles.
• Conduct regular reviews of existing solutions to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
• Develop proof of concepts to validate new technologies and solution approaches.
• Manage cloud service costs and ensure adherence to organizational security and compliance standards.
• Establish and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of relevant industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect or Senior Software Engineer, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
• Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Azure services (App Services, Functions, Azure DevOps, Data Factory, SQL Database, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of architecture styles, design patterns, and trade-off analysis.
• Proven ability to design secure, resilient, and cost-efficient cloud solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent certification.
• Experience in data integration, data warehousing, and big data technologies.
• Exposure to IoT and edge computing solutions.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with machine learning techniques and analytics platforms.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
