We are seeking a talented Solution Architect with a background in system integration, particularly within airport environments, and proficiency in Apache Camel. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of designing and implementing robust solutions using Red Hat technologies, with a focus on Apache Camel for seamless integration of diverse systems. As a Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements, architecting efficient solutions, and ensuring successful implementation within airport ecosystems. Responsibilities Requirement AnalysisCollaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to airport system integration, with a focus on Apache Camel usage. Solution DesignDesign scalable and resilient solutions leveraging Apache Camel within Red Hat environments to integrate various systems across airport operations. Technical LeadershipProvide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards. Architecture DocumentationDevelop detailed architecture documentation, including diagrams, technical specifications, and integration patterns using Apache Camel. Integration ImplementationLead the implementation of integration solutions, configuring and optimizing Apache Camel routes to achieve seamless data exchange between systems. Testing and ValidationDevelop and execute integration test plans to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of integrated systems. TroubleshootingIdentify and resolve technical issues during solution implementation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolutions. Stakeholder CollaborationWork closely with airport stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to align solution designs with business objectives and operational requirements. Knowledge SharingStay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies related to Apache Camel and system integration, sharing knowledge and insights with team members. Training and SupportProvide training and support to internal teams and end-users to facilitate the adoption and maintenance of integrated solutions. Continuous ImprovementContinuously evaluate and enhance solution architecture, processes, and methodologies to optimize performance and drive innovation.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Proven experience (3-5 years) as a Solution Architect, with a focus on system integration, particularly within airport environments. Extensive hands-on experience with Apache Camel, including configuration, routing, and transformation of messages. Strong expertise in Red Hat technologies, such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat OpenShift, and Red Hat Middleware. Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance integration solutions using Apache Camel within Red Hat environments. Solid understanding of integration patterns, protocols (e.g., REST, SOAP, MQTT), and standards (e.g., HL7, EDI). Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail. Red Hat certification (e.g., Red Hat Certified Architect) and Apache Camel certification are advantageous. Willingness to travel occasionally for project meetings and deployments. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working with airport management systems, flight operations systems, baggage handling systems, etc. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards relevant to the aviation industry (e.g., IATA, FAA).
