Job Title: Solution Architect E-commerce Experience Required: 8 to 12 Years Location: Hyderabad Job Description: We are seeking an experienced E-commerce Solution Architect with 8 to 12 years of total experience and at least 6-8 years of relevant expertise in the e-commerce domain. This role requires a visionary professional who can design and lead scalable, high-performing e-commerce solutions aligned with long-term business goals. Key Responsibilities: Design long-term (2 to 4 years) solution architecture aligned with organizational strategy and goals. Evaluate and decide between build vs buy options, considering quality, stability, implementation cost, and speed. Own the entire e-commerce landscape including Pricing & BI, product content, channel integration, webshops (Salesforce Commerce Cloud), and customer service. Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance e-commerce platforms. Ensure adherence to best practices and enterprise architectural principles across development teams. Collaborate with Lead Product Owners and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions. Assess current vendors based on future roadmap and initiate changes if necessary. Drive discussions on technical, architectural, and functional aspects, guiding both business and development teams. Oversee development efforts and provide technical direction based on stakeholder requirements. Define system integration architectures and collaborate with system integrators while maintaining compliance. Stay updated on new technologies and share relevant innovations in the e-commerce space. Create a collaborative environment for team members, mentoring junior staff and addressing issues proactively. Support data migration planning and go-live activities, resolving technical challenges effectively. Lead software solution decisions and perform POCs when needed. Conduct code reviews and implement performance testing standards. Develop frameworks, tools, and accelerators to empower the technology team. Participate in pre-sales efforts, providing solutions and driving technical discussions. Integrate third-party systems like CRM, OMS, ERP via middleware or API gateways. Resolve performance and scalability issues in time-sensitive environments. Skills and Experience Required: 5+ years as a Solution Architect. 8+ years in developing e-commerce solutions and applications. 6+ years with commercial e-commerce platforms such as SFCC, Magento, Shopify, BigCommerce, etc. Architect certification in any e-commerce platform is a plus. Experience in startup environments is desirable. Proven implementation experience in large, complex, multi-domain, and multisite e-commerce projects. Hands-on experience with tools/platforms like Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mulesoft, Zendesk, Winshuttle CMS, RabbitMQ ESB. Strong understanding of UI technologies and omnichannel e-commerce systems. Deep knowledge of key e-commerce functionalities: catalog management, pricing, promotions, loyalty programs, inventory/order management, payments, returns, supply chain, etc. Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to craft innovative, practical solutions. Collaborative mindset with mentoring capabilities. Adaptable to dynamic, fast-paced environments. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, MVP principles, and CI/CD practices. Ability to conduct workshops and hands-on Agile development experience.
