Solution Architect Dynamics 365 F& O (Supply Chain Management)

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and drive the

  end-to-end solution architecture

  for Dynamics 365 F&O SCM implementations, ensuring scalability, performance, and compliance.
• Define the

  solution blueprint

  for SCM processes including inventory, procurement, sales, warehouse, logistics, and master planning.
• Partner with business leaders, SMEs, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into efficient and scalable D365 F&O solutions.
• Lead requirement gathering sessions, fit-gap analysis, and workshops; prepare and validate solution design documentation.
• Provide

  functional solution design

  for reports, integrations, and process automations in SCM.
• Guide teams on

  configuration standards

  – product/item setup, BOM, number sequences, dimension/ledger structures, and tax setup.
• Define and govern

  data migration strategies

  using data entities for SCM modules.
• Provide quality assurance, ensure adherence to Microsoft best practices, and mitigate solution risks.
• Lead solution validation, testing strategies, and cutover planning for SCM implementations.
• Act as a

  trusted advisor

  to clients on supply chain transformation roadmaps and industry best practices.
• Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle – discovery, design, build, test, deployment, and post-go-live support.

Key Skills & Experience:

• 15+ years of overall ERP/IT experience with at least 6+ years in Dynamics AX and extensive exposure to

  Dynamics 365 F&O SCM

  .
• Minimum of 5 years as a

  Solution Architect

  for SCM-focused implementations.
• Strong functional expertise in

  Inventory Management, Procurement & Sourcing, Sales Order Processing, Warehouse Management, Transfer Orders, and Master Planning

  .
• Proven experience in

  3+ end-to-end implementations

  of Dynamics 365 F&O SCM.
• Hands-on experience in preparing and reviewing

  FRD, FDD, Fit-Gap, and User Guides

  .
• Strong understanding of

  testing, data migration, and integration strategies

  .
• Excellent skills in stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, and client presentations.
• Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 certifications preferred.
