SolidWorks Drafting/Design Engineer

Role Overview: As a SolidWorks Drafting/Design Engineer, you will be responsible for working on Engineering Projects and carrying out drafting, modeling, and detail engineering. You will report to the Deputy Manager of Engineering. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare 3D models for parts, pipe routing, and support using SolidWorks software. - Create 2D detail drawings for machined components and assembly drawings. - Generate drawings and issue them in PDM (Product Data Management). - Develop Bill of Materials (BOM) in SAP with part coding system. - Ensure compliance with Armstrong Quality standards. Qualification Required: - Clear understanding of preparing detail drawings for manufacturing, customer, and special process drawings. - Proficiency in using SolidWorks tools to deliver drawings with a short turnaround time. - Basic knowledge of piping material and reference standards for flanges, fittings, and valves.
