Job Summary:

WeHear is seeking a detail-oriented Soldering Technician to join our hardware assembly and production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in precision soldering for electronic components, PCBs, and wiring in consumer electronic products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform precision soldering of electronic components onto PCBs (Surface Mount and Through-Hole).
• Assemble small electronic modules used in WeHear products.
• Inspect and test solder joints for quality assurance.
• Work closely with the design and testing teams to resolve technical and quality issues.
• Maintain clean, ESD-safe, and organized work areas.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Ensure products meet company and industry quality standards.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and documentation related to soldering operations.
• Follow safety protocols and EHS compliance procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in electronics soldering and assembly.
• Proficient in using soldering irons, rework stations, microscopes, and multimeters.
• Understanding of IPC soldering standards is a plus.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under a microscope or magnifying glass for extended periods.
• Team player with the ability to work independently when required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a hardware startup or consumer electronics manufacturing.
• Familiarity with ESD handling and cleanroom environments.
