Position Title:

Role Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and technically sound SolarWinds Monitoring Engineer with 23 years of hands-on experience. The selected candidate will assist in configuring, maintaining, and supporting SolarWinds monitoring tools to ensure high visibility across IT infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the administration and day-to-day operations of SolarWinds modules such as:
Network Performance Monitor (NPM)
Server & Application Monitor (SAM)
IP Address Manager (IPAM)
NetFlow Traffic Analyzer (NTA) (if applicable)
Monitor system and network performance, and generate alerts and reports
Perform basic troubleshooting for issues raised through SolarWinds alerts
Support dashboard and report creation for various stakeholders
Tune alert thresholds and reduce false positives
Maintain system hygiene and documentation
Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional IT teams

Required Skills & Qualifications:

2–3 years of hands-on experience with SolarWinds (Orion platform)
Understanding of monitoring protocols (SNMP, WMI, ICMP)
Strong grasp of infrastructure components – servers, networking, applications
Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., PowerShell) is a plus
Strong communication and analytical skills

Nice to Have:

Exposure to SolarWinds integrations (e.g., with ServiceNow)
Basic knowledge of ITIL processes
SolarWinds Certified Professional (SCP) preferred
