Solar Technician

As a Solar Panel Installer, your main responsibilities will include installing solar panels, inverters, and other components of solar energy systems. You will also be responsible for performing routine maintenance and inspections to ensure the optimal performance of these systems. In case of any issues, you will diagnose and troubleshoot problems related to electrical and mechanical components, and repair or replace defective parts as needed to restore system functionality. Additionally, you will be required to test the equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines throughout the process. Your role will also involve ensuring compliance with electrical codes and regulations, maintaining accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and repairs, and generating reports as necessary for supervisors or management. To excel in this position, you should have a strong knowledge of electrical systems and components, along with familiarity with solar energy technology and equipment. The ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics, excellent troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in work are essential. Physical stamina and the ability to work at heights will also be required. Good communication and interpersonal skills are important for effective collaboration with team members and other stakeholders.
