Solar Panel Installer

As a Solar Panel Installer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing photovoltaic (PV) systems while ensuring adherence to safety codes and manufacturer specifications. Your key responsibilities will include: - Installation: Assembling and installing solar panels, racks, and associated electrical equipment on residential and commercial structures. - Electrical work: Connecting the solar system to the building's electrical system, wiring components, and ensuring compliance with codes. - System testing and maintenance: Testing the functionality of newly installed systems, troubleshooting issues, and performing regular maintenance and repairs. - Planning and layout: Planning the layout of solar panels based on site conditions and customer needs, often utilizing blueprints and diagrams. - Safety and compliance: Adhering to safety regulations and protocols, especially when working at heights, and ensuring compliance with building and electrical codes. - Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of installations, including materials, labor hours, and any modifications or repairs. - Customer communication: Explaining system operations to customers, addressing their inquiries, and providing maintenance recommendations.
